Theplas are great when you are travelling. It goes well with tea, suki bhaji (aloo palya), achar and even without anything!
Being gujju I love thepla, and I grew up eating them!
To knead the dough:
250gms wheat flour
100ml water
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
Option but important for taste:
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 inch ginger grated
1-2 finely chopped chilies
1 tspn seasame seeds
1 tspn oil
Methi or coriander
Knead the dough and then make it like you make parathas :)
